Today ran out of daylight, but never did I run out of grace. God's grace is new every morning and sufficient for the challenges of that day. I needed that grace today. Instead of taking the main road in the valley which would have been quicker, shorter, easier and probably less dangerous, I opted for the mountain road. The only problem with this, is that three times I had to change course because the path became unpassable with thorns and overgrowth. Most of the way though I followed an old shepherd's path. It was not easy, but very beautiful. I just had to watch my step and take my time. It was just me and Jesus makonh our way through the mountain. It was dark by the time I got into the town Gonni. There is no campground, hotel or bed and breakfast there. So I ate a hamburger and went up the hill to the Prophet Elijah Church that overlooks Gonni. There I put up my tent... and slept real good. In the morning God's amazing grace would be ready and waiting for me for the new day.
Photo 2: I have no idea how these flowers can grow out of the rock. This speaks of the strength that God has given nature to overcome obstacles.
