Arkitsa - Theologos

Photo 1: I really enjoyed the first half of the walk today along the shoreline...

Photo 2: When I took this picture, I did not realize that I was looking at my destination for today, Theologes. I am not sure how the town got that name, but I like it: "The Study of God". I also had no idea that it would take me another five hours of walking to get there. One of those hours was because I walked on a path on the wrong side of the expressway and then could not get across to the other side where I needed to be. Things like that happen in our journey in life. It develops patience and endurance in us. It also gave me an extra hour to pray for the region.

Photo 3: When I finally got on the other side of the expressway, I saw this sign showing me my destination to Theologes and Athens.

Photo 4: The shadow man was always at my side. Not always could I see him, but he was there. It reminded me of Jesus' promise to be with us always, even to the end of the world.
