Rohrbach - Wingen an der Moder

Photo 1: Even though I have not been on an official pilgrim path, sometimes though partially on the Way of St. James, I have been able to collect a few stamps for my pilgrim passport.

Photo 2: I am so used to seeing the Madonna in this strong Catholic area, that I had to look twice to realize that Joseph was up on this pedestal holding the baby Jesus.

Photo 4: I am always glad to see a foot bridge that is intact where you need one.

Photo 5: Sandrine and Didiar, to the left of me, are missionaries from the French Assemblies of God to Madagascar. They were my hosts for this evening and invited two friends, David and Stefanie, to my right, to come for a spontaneous home meeting. I shared some of life's lessons gleaned from the pilgrim trail. David translated for me from German to French. It was a special evening together. I was also very glad to have a roof over my head as it rained in the night.
