Photo 1: A new week begins. That first step leads to paths and places I have never been before. How will it be? How will I make it? The weather forecast is showing rain and thunder storms every day except today. God knows...

Photo 2: "Tree and brush tunnel"

I love walking through these nature tunnels. On a hot day they give you shade, and when it rains they give you some cover from the rain.

Photo 3: "Purple wild flower"

When you walk like this, you learn to see the beauty in simple things along the path.

Photo 4: There were not many people out and about today. Going up one hill, though, I notice a car with Austrian auto plates. A young mother was there getting ready to walk her child together with her niece. I greeted her in German which surprised her. She is from Belgium, lives in Austria, and was visiting her mother, who also then came to the street. The young mother translated what I had to say for her niece and mother. They heard my story.

Photo 5: As I layed on my plastic groundsheet at the camping place to test out the position before I put up my tent, I saw this hint of a rainbow in the sky. It gave me peace about the rainy days that were expected the coming days. God knows.
