Photo 1: "Start in the early morning"

Since I slept in the glamping tent, my things stayed dry and I did not have to mess with my tent in the morning. That helped me get an early start which is very helpful when I have a long walk to do. Today's stretch would be 38 km.

Photo 2: I eventually hit the hills. No longer will it be as flat as it was the first days in Belgium. For some reason, though, my feet were really hurting today.

Photo 5: Shortly before I came to the campground, I went by this scenic corner on the Dender River. At the campground there was only one other person on the grass pitches for tents. He was a cyclists named Bert. We talked a bit this evening and the next morning. I shared my story with him and prayed a prayer of blessing for him. Afterwards he very enthusiastically shook my hand. I think that was his way of showing his appreciation. It was probably the first time that someone prayed for him like that.
