I love it when the blue of heaven comes down to the green of earth like that. Life on earth and the grace that comes from heaven go hand in hand.

Photo 2: There are well over 150 to nearly 200 major historical pilgrimage sites and churches in Bavaria, Germany. Today I walk by one of them, the Pilgrimage Maria-Birnbaum Church in Sielenbach.

Photo 3: I saw many airplanes passing over me today, a sign that I am getting near to the Munich airport. My home in Buch am Erlbach is located about 30 minutes away (by car) from the airport.

Photo 4: When I took off my backpack at the end of the stretch today, one of the two prongs from the side-release buckle broke off. I think it will last two more walks. I am so glad that it did not happen earlier in the trip. It is time for me get home...

Photo 5: My hosts for the evening were Marion, Robert and Jan Jetschny, wonderful people and great friends. Marion's mother, Monika, also came over for the evening. Marion and Monika had been part of the Moosburg Church before Marion got married and moved away. Monika followed a number of years later. It was good seeing every one again. They were very interested in hearing about my experiences on Snail-Trail 4.0...
